Pakistan Defense Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi Address

Zahir Khan & Brothers Engineers and Contractors vice chairman Mohabbat Bin Zahir Khan used a special ceremony marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Pakistan Defense Day to praise the Prophet Muhammad, salute the armed forces’ bravery, and call for national unity while outlining his company’s development plans and a new social welfare initiative.
Speaking at the event, Mohabbat Bin Zahir Khan described the concurrence of the Prophet’s birthday and Defense Day as extraordinary, saying the life and virtues of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are beyond full description. He emphasized the spiritual significance of the occasion and urged citizens to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s example.
Turning to the country’s military history, he recalled how the nation’s armed forces repelled a surprise attack, winning global admiration for their response. He urged Pakistanis to embrace the principles of the nation’s founder and to move beyond sectarian and linguistic divisions in order to strengthen national cohesion.
Mohabbat Bin Zahir Khan stressed that the Pakistani army is the country’s lifeblood and called on everyone to act responsibly to address current challenges. He noted that Pakistan was created through great sacrifice and argued that renewed unity is essential to improve the nation’s situation.
He also outlined his company’s background and future aims. Zahir Khan & Brothers Engineers and Contractors began operations in Balochistan in 1973 and has since focused its investments exclusively within Pakistan. Khan said the company’s projects meet international standards and that its workforce exceeds fifty thousand employees. ZKB intends to pursue government projects through partnership arrangements.
Finally, he announced the launch of the Noor Nama Foundation, a new initiative focused on education, health and employment, and reiterated that ZKB has no affiliation with any political party and harbors no political ambitions.
