**GB Govt Condemns Attack on FC Personnel in Chilas, Orders Immediate Arrest of Culprits**
The Gilgit-Baltistan government has strongly condemned a recent shooting incident in Chilas Thor that resulted in the death of a Frontier Corps (FC) personnel. Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, Special Assistant for Information to the Chief Minister, Iman Shah, stated that attacks on security forces tasked with protecting the lives and property of citizens are intolerable.
Iman Shah emphasized that Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan has directed the Home Department to submit a detailed report on the incident and to ensure the immediate arrest of those responsible. The special assistant also offered prayers for the fallen FC member’s soul, wishing for his highest rank in the afterlife, and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
The government reiterated its commitment to safeguarding public safety and pursuing justice for those targeted while performing their duties.
