Shifa International Hospitals Limited (SIHL) has extended its humanitarian initiative for victims of recent monsoon flooding, delivering free medical services to over 350 people in Rawalpindi’s New Chakra area during the second day of its ongoing medical camp series.
A multidisciplinary team comprising 30 SIHL staff members, including six specialist doctors in pediatrics, internal medicine, and emergency medicine, provided essential healthcare to those affected by the floods. The outreach included comprehensive health assessments, free medical check-ups, specialist consultations, and the distribution of vital medicines at no cost.
The medical camp specifically addressed a range of urgent health issues arising after the floods, such as waterborne diseases, respiratory infections, and other acute medical conditions. Residents praised the initiative for delivering prompt and compassionate care when it was most needed.
A spokesperson for Shifa International Hospital emphasized the organization’s commitment to public welfare, stating, “Shifa International Hospital remains steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and promoting community welfare. Through such initiatives, we not only address immediate health concerns but also help restore hope and resilience in affected communities.”
