OIC-COMSTECH Showcases Startups at SEE Pakistan 2025

OIC-COMSTECH, in partnership with the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), played a key role at SEE Pakistan 2025, the nation’s largest technology and entrepreneurship expo featuring the World Startup Championship. The event drew top innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors from across the globe, with 100 leading startups vying for international recognition.

As part of its efforts, OIC-COMSTECH facilitated the participation of prominent international startups from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). These included FORMETA from University Technology Sarawak in Malaysia, Irrigo from Baku State University in Azerbaijan, Your Scents from University Technology MARA in Malaysia, and Smart Fert from Mauritania. These startups presented advanced solutions spanning technology, healthcare, the environment, lifestyle, and sustainability, underscoring the dynamic entrepreneurial spirit within the Muslim world.

A COMSTECH delegation with representatives from Benin, Senegal, Gabon, Bangladesh, and Mauritania was present at the expo, engaging in collaborative knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.

The event also featured a panel discussion on “Role of Industry in Startup Commercialisation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.” Prof. Dr. Ahmed Elmouna, Honorary Advisor to OIC-COMSTECH on Science and Technology for the MENA region, shared valuable insights into the growing influence of artificial intelligence in forging industry-startup partnerships and boosting commercialization efforts.

Through its active engagement at SEE Pakistan 2025, OIC-COMSTECH emphasized its ongoing commitment to advancing science, technology, and innovation. The organization continues to help member states access global entrepreneurship platforms and increase their impact on the international stage.
