**Pakistan’s Climate Change Minister Vows Support for Youth-Driven Clean Energy and Carbon Initiatives**

The Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, has pledged the government’s full backing for youth-led startups pioneering clean energy technologies and carbon market innovations in Pakistan. In meetings with parliamentary leaders and emerging entrepreneurs, Dr. Malik emphasized the critical role of young innovators in accelerating Pakistan’s transition toward sustainable, low-carbon growth.

During a high-level session, Dr. Malik was joined by Ms. Zeb Jaffer, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Defense, where they met with several prominent green startups. Among them was Carbon Croft, a carbon advisory firm that is actively facilitating Pakistan’s shift towards net-zero emissions by enhancing access to carbon market mechanisms and streamlining climate finance solutions.

Dr. Malik also engaged with representatives from Carbon Flora, a startup working to democratize access to carbon credits for individual users and raise public awareness about carbon offset opportunities. The Minister lauded the potential of such initiatives to broaden participation in climate action and empower citizens to contribute directly to emissions reduction.

Expressing strong support for the country’s rapidly growing climate tech sector, Dr. Malik reiterated the government’s resolve to nurture a robust ecosystem for clean energy innovation. He underscored the importance of developing carbon markets in Pakistan and highlighted government strategies aimed at creating enabling pathways for youth entrepreneurship and the deployment of green technologies nationwide.
