**PHA Rawalpindi Intensifies Efforts to Beautify City Parks and Green Spaces**
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi is ramping up efforts to decorate public parks and green belts across the city, aiming to promote a greener environment and provide improved recreational and safety facilities for residents. The ongoing beautification campaign is receiving special focus under the directives of Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, with new enhancements drawing public attention and appreciation.
According to PHA officials, decoration and maintenance activities are underway at city parks, major intersections, and green spaces along key highways. The initiative includes extensive horticulture work, with colorful flowers and lush plants planted at prominent locations, transforming Rawalpindi into a vibrant and visually appealing city. The city’s parks and landscaped gardens now feature an array of flowers and greenery, delighting visitors and contributing to a healthier environment.
In addition to beautification, regular maintenance is being carried out at PHA nurseries to ensure the sustained growth and health of plants. Staff members are working diligently to not only maintain existing green areas but also to introduce new plants and flowers as part of the authority’s vision to maximize green coverage. Several upgradation and improvement projects are in progress, reflecting the Punjab government’s commitment to enhancing recreational facilities for its citizens.
