
Abu Dhabi, UAE : Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, during his official visit to the UAE. The high-level meeting reaffirmed the historic, fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE, built on mutual respect, trust, and strategic cooperation.
The two leaders held extensive discussions on a broad spectrum of bilateral, regional, and international matters of shared interest. Emphasizing their long-standing partnership, both sides pledged to deepen collaboration in key areas including economic development, investment, energy, and regional peace efforts.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed heartfelt gratitude for the UAE’s role in facilitating diplomatic efforts, particularly its constructive contribution to easing tensions between Pakistan and India. He commended the UAE’s continued leadership in fostering peace and dialogue across the region.
Both leaders noted with satisfaction the upward momentum in bilateral relations and emphasized the need for sustained engagement across governmental, economic, and defense sectors. They agreed to maintain close coordination and work jointly toward their common vision of regional stability and prosperity.
Prime Minister Sharif also reiterated his earlier invitation for the UAE President to visit Pakistan at a mutually convenient date.
The meeting was attended by several key Pakistani officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar, and SAPM Syed Tariq Fatemi, underscoring the strategic importance of the bilateral partnership.
