Pakistan Economic Collaboration Drives Investment Initiatives

The heads of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) have agreed to work closely together to strengthen Pakistan’s economic prospects. Rehan Naseem Bharara, President of FCCI, and Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, President of ICCI, met at the Islamabad Chamber headquarters, where they discussed strategies to attract foreign investment and address key economic challenges in the country.

During their meeting, both chamber presidents emphasized the importance of implementing business-friendly and export-oriented policies. They pledged to advocate for unified measures that can make Pakistan’s business environment more competitive on the global stage.

Nasir Mansoor Qureshi highlighted several major initiatives being led by ICCI, including plans for a modern expo center in Islamabad designed to support international trade and exhibitions. He also shared recent successes in expanding business ties abroad, particularly with partners in Qatar and Bangladesh.

Rehan Naseem Bharara commended ICCI’s role in policy advocacy and efforts to position Islamabad as a significant destination for global investors. Both leaders agreed that close collaboration between regional chambers can serve as an effective model for driving economic growth and promoting investments nationwide.

The meeting was attended by other key figures from ICCI, including Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, ICCI Senior Vice President Naveed Malik, former Vice Presidents Ashfaq Chattaha and Fahim Khan, as well as Executive Member Najib Ellahi Malik, underscoring the broad support for enhanced chamber cooperation.
