During the visit he reviewed several departments of the factory and received detailed briefings on manufacturing workflows, quality assurance and global safety protocols.

Mustafa Kamal emphasised the importance of learning from Indonesia’s established systems and said Pakistan aims to benefit from those lessons in setting up modern vaccine production facilities at home. The minister’s visit focused on practical insights into production standards, regulatory compliance and the safety measures required for large-scale vaccine manufacturing.

The engagement in Jakarta reflects Pakistan’s intent to strengthen local capacity in vaccine production and adopt international best practices to ensure quality and safety.
