Adiala Park Upgrade Brings Modern Facilities to Rawalpindi

The Punjab government is transforming Rawalpindi’s Adiala Public Park into a state-of-the-art facility by upgrading it with modern recreational and sports amenities. Under the supervision of DG Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, extensive renovation efforts are underway to provide citizens with a healthy and enjoyable environment.
DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha recently conducted an inspection visit to Adiala Park accompanied by Additional Commissioner Coordination Syed Nirazat Ali, Director Admin and Finance PHA Ehsanullah, and other senior officials. The delegation toured various sections of the park to assess ongoing developments and reviewed the progress closely.
During the visit, DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha briefed Additional Commissioner Coordination Syed Nirazat Ali about the extensive beautification and upgrade work in progress. The delegation discussed important improvements aimed at enhancing the overall aesthetics and functionality of the park, ensuring it meets the expectations of visitors.
Discussing the initiative, Mr. Ranjha stated that, following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the PHA team is working tirelessly to incorporate modern facilities and amenities suitable for all age groups and interests. He highlighted that the upgraded Adiala Park would feature specially designed areas such as jogging and cycling tracks, an open-air gym, a mini golf course, futsal and cricket spaces, tennis courts, an ATV track, and a skating rink. Additionally, indoor game halls will cater to visitors who prefer indoor recreation.
Alongside sports and exercise facilities, the renovated Adiala Park will also host numerous leisure amenities for visitors. These include a children’s play area, a beautifully designed café, a scenic water pond, zip line, and paintball facilities—aimed at providing engaging entertainment for families and youngsters alike.
