Students at Fatima Jinnah Women University showcased creative, visually rich projects on key Qur’anic narratives and episodes from the life of Prophet Muhammad at the Seerah EXPO 2025, an interactive exhibition designed to deepen understanding and promote innovative approaches to Islamic learning. The event combined student-made models and displays with exhibits provided by a partner organization to create a holistic learning experience that emphasized spiritual reflection and intellectual growth.
The exhibition featured a wide range of student projects, including scale models, displays, and visual representations of significant events from the Holy Qur’an and the Seerah. These projects were intended to encourage reflection on prophetic guidance and to present complex religious narratives in accessible, engaging formats suitable for both study and public presentation.
The initiative was coordinated by Dr. Masooma Batool, whose efforts were credited with the event’s smooth organization and success. Heads of departments, chairpersons and faculty members attended the expo and praised the students’ creativity, attention to detail and hard work, noting the educational value of hands-on, visually oriented learning tools.
Dr. Shahzadi Pakeeza, Chairperson of the Department of Islamic Studies, expressed gratitude to the organizers and highlighted the importance of learning from the Seerah. She emphasized that such initiatives not only foster spiritual insight but also contribute to students’ intellectual development by encouraging research, critical thinking and creative expression around Islamic topics.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with Al Noor International, Islamabad, which supplemented the student displays with additional models, a selection of Seerah books and demonstrations of Sunnah food items. This partnership enriched the expo’s offerings and broadened its appeal by linking scholarly material with tangible cultural and religious practices.
By combining academic inquiry with artistic presentation, the Seerah EXPO 2025 provided students a meaningful platform to express their knowledge and creativity while celebrating the enduring teachings of the Qur’an and the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The event reinforced the role of innovative educational methods in promoting Islamic education, spiritual reflection and community engagement.
