Discover Naturbyn Sweden An Ecovillage in Värmland Forests

The Embassy of Sweden in Pakistan has shared a captivating glimpse of Naturbyn, an eco-friendly village located by Lake Eldan in Sweden’s Värmland province. Unlike conventional settlements, Naturbyn is constructed entirely by hand using traditional methods, without the aid of any modern machinery.
This unique village operates completely off the grid, relying solely on woodstoves for heating and candlelight to illuminate its cozy handmade cabins. There’s no electricity available, highlighting a lifestyle centered around sustainability and minimal environmental impact.
Naturbyn’s handcrafted approach offers visitors an opportunity to reconnect with nature and experience a slower, simpler way of life amidst the Swedish forest. The photo, credited to Linus Bergman, captures the village’s serene and rustic atmosphere, underscored by the warm glow of candles on an autumn evening.
