Arid University Orientation Welcomes New Students to Campus

Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi held a series of orientation sessions for newly admitted students across its faculties and institutes, welcoming them and introducing campus policies, academic programs, and support services. University leadership, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman, Registrar, Deans, Directors, and principal officers, took part in the events to ensure students have the information and resources needed for a smooth transition into university life.

University officials outlined campus rules and regulations, academic expectations, and the range of programs available to incoming students. Sessions were tailored to faculty-specific needs, with Deans and Directors providing detailed briefings on departmental curricula, degree requirements, and opportunities for academic and research engagement.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman welcomed the new students and emphasized the university’s commitment to providing modern facilities, a stimulating academic environment, and an inclusive campus culture. He stressed the institution’s focus on academic excellence and student development, expressing the university’s aim to inspire learning, innovation, and personal growth.

To support students practically, information desks were set up across all faculties and institutes to offer personalized guidance and assistance. Faculty and administrative staff were available throughout the day to answer questions and help students navigate administrative procedures, campus services, and student support programs.

The orientation program was designed to facilitate a smooth transition into university life and to reinforce PMAS-AAUR’s dedication to equipping students with the resources and support needed to succeed academically and personally.
