Power Play Day Advances Inclusive Education

Basic School F-8 Campus marked Power Play Day with spirited participation from students across the Inclusive Education Department, pre-school and grades three through A-level. The event brought together learners with diverse needs and abilities, turning the campus into a practical classroom for inclusive education where confidence and teamwork took centre stage.

The programme was chaired by Ms. Saba Mubashir of Khel Ittehad Hum Tarbiyat and featured contributions from Mazharja Sabita Qarib. The Branch Director and Dr. Muhammad Arshad Zia helped prepare the occasion, reinforcing the school’s commitment to character building and equal access to activities for every child.

Students from the Inclusive Education Department were particularly prominent, demonstrating determination and poise in adapted games and performances that highlighted their skills. The inclusive education focus at the event emphasized practical learning, peer support and the role of sport in social development.

Guests including entrepreneur Ms. Masooma Kamal Zubair and badminton gold medallist Mr. Shujaat Ali Khan praised the students’ performances and the school’s inclusive approach. They noted that Power Play Day reflects a collective spirit and the value of creating opportunities for all children to participate and excel.

The distribution of awards and certificates acknowledged perseverance, teamwork and a positive sporting attitude. Power Play Day at Basic School F-8 underscored how inclusive education and community engagement together foster confidence, resilience and a stronger school culture.
