Rawalpindi Patrol Conducts Major Arms and Liquor Seizure
Under the direction of SP Faisal Saleem, the Rawalpindi patrol intensified operations against criminal elements in the region, resulting in multiple arrests and seizures in Kahuta. The sustained crackdown is part of the patrolling police effort to curb violent crime and illegal trade.
In an operation led by Patrolling Post Bawer, Assistant Sub-Inspector Haider Ali apprehended Bilal Hussain, son of Mohammad Khalil, a resident of Kahuta. During the arrest officers recovered a 30-bore pistol along with four rounds, which were handed over as evidence for legal proceedings.
In a separate action, patrolling teams arrested Mohammad Usman, son of Anzar Mehmood of Kahuta, and recovered two bottles of illegal liquor from his possession. Both incidents were recorded and formal cases were registered at Kahuta police station to allow for further investigation and prosecution.
The Rawalpindi patrol emphasized that these operations reflect ongoing efforts to protect the public and disrupt criminal networks. Local residents have welcomed the visible law enforcement presence, and investigations into the seized items and suspects remain active.
