The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Islamabad held an orientation program for students from across Pakistan who have been awarded YTB Scholarships, bringing together new scholars preparing to begin their studies in Türkiye.
H.E. İrfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, addressed the attendees and shared insights aimed at helping students adapt academically and culturally during their time in Türkiye.
Members of Türkiye Alumni Pakistan (TULIP), including Dr. Shahid Javed Butt and Dr. Irfan Ahmad Gondal, attended the event and represented the alumni community, offering mentorship and practical advice to incoming scholars.
The orientation reinforced available support networks and emphasised the role of alumni in guiding new students. These YTB Scholarships reflect the strengthening educational ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, and both the embassy and TULIP extended their congratulations and best wishes for the students’ academic success in Türkiye.
