Mango lovers in Romania have a new reason to celebrate, as premium Pakistani mangoes—often hailed as the “king of fruits”—are now available in the country. The development was highlighted during Mango Day celebrations, drawing attention to the rich diversity and outstanding taste of Pakistani mangoes.

Pakistan is renowned for its exceptional mangoes, with over 250 varieties grown across the country. Of these, around 30 are considered top favorites, catering to a wide range of palates. Popular varieties such as Chaunsa, Sindhri, and Anwar Ratol are especially sought after for their unique flavors and juicy sweetness.

Romanian consumers now have the opportunity to savor these high-quality fruits, thanks to recent efforts to boost agricultural exports and foster international trade. The arrival of Pakistani mangoes in Romania was made possible through the collaboration of Pakistani authorities, and special thanks were extended to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for their role in facilitating this move.

As Pakistani mangoes become available in new markets, fruit enthusiasts are encouraged to discover and share their favorite varieties, further strengthening cultural and economic ties between Pakistan and Romania.
