Algeria Embassy Islamabad Marks 63rd Independence Day

The Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad commemorated the 63rd anniversary of the country’s independence in a ceremony overseen by Ambassador Dr. Brahim Romani and attended by members of the Algerian community residing in Pakistan. This year’s independence anniversary was celebrated under the theme “Our Algeria, the legacy of martyrs and the glory of the loyal,” highlighting Algeria’s historical sacrifices and patriotic pride.

The event, held at the revived Algerian Embassy premises in Islamabad, took place with Ambassador Dr. Brahim Romani officiating the commemoration. Ambassador Romani emphasized Algeria’s enduring gratitude towards those who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives for the nation’s freedom. He further noted the significance of commemorating national independence abroad, indicating the strong bonds and continued unity among Algerians worldwide.

Members of the Algerian community residing in Pakistan actively participated in the celebrations, expressing their loyalty and connection with their homeland.
