Balochistan Virtual Academy Expands Teacher Training Access

**Balochistan Launches First Virtual Teacher Training Academy to Improve Education Quality**

Balochistan has taken a significant step in strengthening its education sector with the launch of the province’s first Virtual Academy for Teacher Training (VATT). Supported by UNICEF and funded by the European Union in Pakistan, the initiative aims to enhance teaching standards and improve learning outcomes for children across the province.

The Virtual Academy, inaugurated by Education Minister Raheela Durrani, will be managed under the Provincial Institute for Teacher Education (PITE). It is designed to provide continuous, digital, and career-oriented training to teachers, utilizing modern technology to reach educators throughout Balochistan, including those in remote areas.

By offering ongoing professional development opportunities, the academy seeks to elevate the skills and effectiveness of teachers, which in turn is expected to ensure that every child receives quality instruction in their classroom. The launch of the Virtual Academy aligns with national goals of expanding access to quality education and reflects Balochistan’s commitment to investing in human capital.

The Directorate of Education Schools Balochistan emphasized that this platform will play a crucial role in supporting educators and ultimately contribute to a stronger, more inclusive education system in the province.
