Punjab Food Authority Murree organised an awareness seminar followed by a community walk at PC Bhurban on World Food Day 2025, joining the Chief Secretary Punjab to highlight the campaign theme “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future”.
PFA officials used the World Food Day platform to stress the importance of robust food safety measures and everyday hygiene, urging food handlers, vendors and hospitality outlets in the region to adopt sustainable practices that protect public health.
The event delivered practical messages about safe food handling and environmental responsibility appropriate to local conditions in Murree, with organisers emphasising continued outreach and cooperation between provincial authorities and the food sector.
The walk at PC Bhurban aimed to amplify public awareness and reinforce the Punjab Food Authority’s commitment to ongoing inspections, education and partnerships to improve food safety across the province.
