Pakistan Deputy PM Heads to Istanbul for Gaza Talks

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Istanbul to take part in a meeting convened by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss recent developments in Gaza. The visit places Pakistan at the centre of diplomatic exchanges as leaders hold Gaza talks aimed at addressing the ongoing situation.

Upon arrival the DPM/FM was received by Director General MFA Protocol Ambassador Ahmet Cemil Miroğlu alongside officials from the Pakistan Embassy. The reception underscored the formal diplomatic channeling of Pakistan’s engagement during these Gaza talks and the coordination between Islamabad and Ankara on matters of regional concern.

An official note dated November 3, 2024 from Ankara confirmed the delegation’s arrival and the planned discussions. The visit reflects Pakistan’s continued diplomatic efforts and engagement in international conversations related to Gaza.
