Alliance Secures Relief for Islamabad Owners
Representatives of the Islamabad Victims Alliance visited senior journalist Hassan Ayub at his residence to thank him for his sustained reporting and vlogs that highlighted injustices against Islamabad owners. The delegation praised Mr. Ayub for raising a principled and courageous voice that helped bring the owners’ concerns to national attention.
Through his impartial coverage, Hassan Ayub exposed that the CDA had provided briefing to the Prime Minister that did not reflect the actual situation on the ground, while long-standing constitutional and legal rights of Islamabad owners remained unaddressed. This reporting, combined with a detailed on-ground briefing by focal person Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi, brought the matter to the attention of Dr Tauqeer Shah.
Dr Tauqeer Shah subsequently took the facts to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who ordered the immediate relocation of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Daanish University projects out of Sector H-16. The Alliance described the decision as a historic and justice-oriented outcome for Islamabad owners and a major step toward rectifying prolonged wrongs.
The Islamabad Victims Alliance thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Dr Tauqeer Shah, Hassan Ayub, and Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi for their fact-based engagement and practical action that helped halt ongoing injustices. Alliance members emphasized that media attention combined with principled government response was key to achieving relief for Islamabad owners.
Alliance leaders reiterated their commitment to continue a peaceful, constitutional, and lawful struggle to protect the rights of property owners and to stand with every individual and institution that supports justice. Hassan Ayub assured the delegation that he will continue to raise the issues of Islamabad owners in higher forums.
