The MoU was signed by Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton, Rector of FCCU, and Ms. Rafia Syed, Director General TDAP Punjab and Services Division. Also in attendance were Dr. Douglas E. Trimble, Vice Rector; Dr. Raza Hashim, Dean of Business and Management; Dr. Syed Shoaib Nazir, Chairperson of the School of Management; Ms. Hina Gul, Director Trade, TDAP; and Ms. Urwa Hassan, Deputy Director, TDAP.

The partnership will focus on strengthening academic industry linkages and supporting IT and ITeS businesses through TDAP’s export-ready accelerator. By combining FCCU’s academic resources with TDAP’s trade expertise, the TDAP FCCU collaboration seeks to raise trade awareness, enhance entrepreneurship training and accelerate export readiness for startups and small exporters across Pakistan.

Stakeholders expect the agreement to produce practical outcomes for students, entrepreneurs and exporters, including research-informed policy input and targeted capacity building. With TDAP positioned as a catalyst for export growth, the TDAP FCCU MoU under the Global Horizon Initiative reinforces a local pathway to scale innovation and trade impact from Lahore to national markets.
