Pakistan Embassy Celebrates Christmas Unity
Pakistan Embassy in Denmark hosted a dignified Christmas cake cutting ceremony to honour the Christian community. The event began with a prayer and included a Christian hymn followed by a patriotic national song, blending faith and national sentiment in a respectful programme.
Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar welcomed attendees at the Pakistan Embassy and in his remarks underscored that this embassy is your own home. He lauded the Christian community’s contributions from the Pakistan Movement to the present day and said that the country’s progress reflects the dedication of all its citizens.
Community leader Nawaz Salamat expressed appreciation for the ambassador’s efforts by presenting a shield and gifting a copy of his father’s book titled Unsung Roles in the Pakistan Movement to the envoy as a mark of respect.
Prominent members of the Christian community present included Nasir White, Gulrez Ghori, Nadeem Masih, Malik Zeeshan, Dr. Naqash and Suleman Chaudhry. The event, hosted by Hina Nawaz, concluded on a warm note with participants commending the Pakistan Embassy’s initiative to strengthen interfaith harmony in Denmark.
