Boosting Surge Capacity Across Pakistan

Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, District Health Officer Islamabad, attended the National Orientation and Validation Workshop on Pakistan’s Multisectoral Surge Capacity Building Package. The session gathered government and health sector representatives to review the validated package and ensure alignment on next steps.

The workshop focused on strengthening multisectoral coordination and surge preparedness for public health emergencies across Pakistan. Participants examined practical measures to enhance readiness and to operationalize the surge capacity framework at provincial and district levels.
