Pakistan Parliamentary Delegation Visit Strengthens Azerbaijan Ties

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, arrived in Azerbaijan leading a parliamentary delegation, aimed at enhancing bilateral ties and interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Speaker Sadiq and his delegation received a warm welcome from Azerbaijani dignitaries. Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Mr. Musa Guliyev, along with Mr. Kamaladdin Gafarov, who heads the Azerbaijan–Pakistan Interparliamentary Working Group, as well as other senior government officials, were present to greet the Pakistani delegation.

During the course of the visit, Speaker Sadiq is scheduled to hold important meetings with Azerbaijan’s senior leadership, including the President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Milli Majlis. Discussions are expected to revolve around strengthening bilateral ties, enhancing parliamentary diplomacy, fostering economic and trade relations, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration across various sectors.

The Pakistani delegation’s visit highlights the enduring friendship and close cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, reflecting a shared commitment to further deepen relations based on mutual respect, common values, and strong support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
