Islamabad, October 9, 2025 — Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi called on Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House on Thursday.
During the meeting both leaders held a detailed discussion on the overall political situation in the country, issues faced by the public and other matters of mutual interest. They underlined that enhanced coordination among federal units and robust parliamentary cooperation are essential for the country’s progress and stability, with Faisal Karim Kundi stressing the need for practical steps to improve intergovernmental working relations.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring the welfare of the people remain foremost priorities for Parliament. He said that through constructive consultation and harmony between the Federation and the Provinces sustainable solutions to national challenges can be achieved.
The governor appreciated the effective role of Parliament under the speaker’s leadership and affirmed that promoting meaningful engagement between the Federation and the Provinces is crucial for addressing national challenges and ensuring inclusive development. Both leaders agreed to maintain regular dialogue to advance cooperative measures for the public interest.
