Readying Danish School Islamabad for PM Launch
Islamabad on May 5, 2026 the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, visited the Danish School Islamabad to review final arrangements ahead of the Prime Minister’s inauguration scheduled for May 7. The visit underlined the ministry’s focus on preparing the campus to open at high operational and academic standards.
The Danish School Islamabad features modern academic and residential facilities designed to offer quality education and equal opportunity to students from varied socio-economic backgrounds. The Minister examined classrooms, laboratories and the library to assess readiness for teaching and boarding operations.
School administrators welcomed the Minister and the Project Director provided a detailed briefing on construction progress, key project features and logistical plans for the inauguration. The Minister toured the campus and expressed satisfaction with the infrastructure, planning and safety measures in place.
During his visit the Minister met students, offered congratulations to newly admitted boys and girls and urged them to remain committed to their studies. He also praised the administration and project team for their efforts in delivering a facility that aligns with national goals for education reform and human capital development.
The upcoming Prime Minister’s inauguration is expected to formally launch this flagship initiative, with the Danish School Islamabad positioned as a model institution to support broader government efforts to expand access to modern, inclusive and high quality education across the country.
