Mobilise for Economic Victory as Nation Marks Maarka e Haq
On the first anniversary of Maarka e Haq, FPCCI president Atif Akram Sheikh paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs, ghazis and the soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces whose sacrifices preserved the nation. He emphasized that the courage shown under field marshal leadership elevated Pakistan on diplomatic and global platforms.
Atif Akram Sheikh said Maarka e Haq proved the Pakistani people will not compromise on their defence and that the victory stands as a living testament to the country’s military and national strength. The president called for public recognition of the heroes and sustained respect for the armed forces.
Looking ahead, he urged the country to translate wartime unity into peacetime progress by focusing on economic recovery. According to the FPCCI president, winning the economic battle is now a national priority and must be pursued with the same resolve that delivered Maarka e Haq.
Atif Akram Sheikh stressed that economic victory depends on unity, faith and sacrifice, continued policy consistency and a business friendly environment. He argued that economic self reliance is essential for true national sovereignty and that a strong defence must be matched by a resilient economy.
The president appealed to businesses, policymakers and citizens to play their part in restoring stability and growth. He highlighted that facilitating trade, ensuring policy continuity and easing business operations will help Pakistan convert the moral and diplomatic gains from Maarka e Haq into tangible economic progress.
Honouring the fallen through national development remains the guiding message as the country moves from defence success to rebuilding prosperity. Atif Akram Sheikh concluded that the same unity that won Maarka e Haq will enable Pakistan to secure lasting economic victory.
