Promoting Peace Through Peace Bottle Initiative
On June 12, 2026 in Islamabad, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Chief Whip of the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue, signed two Memorandums of Understanding with representatives of Zhongping Technology Co., Ltd. and the World Peace Bottle Forum Organizing Committee to advance the Peace Bottle initiative and deepen Pakistan China friendship.
The first MoU establishes a framework for cooperation as a standing council member unit for the proposed Global 500 Peace Bottle Forum, outlining joint hosting of international forums, conferences, exhibitions and seminars alongside investment promotion activities and business networking that aim to support peacebuilding and intercultural understanding.
The second agreement sets out cooperation for the donation and installation of a World Peace Bottle monument in Pakistan, conceived as a public symbol of harmony, international friendship and people-to-people connectivity that will complement cultural diplomacy efforts across the country.
Both MoUs emphasize collaboration across cultural, educational, tourism, trade and social sectors to encourage greater international engagement, sustainable social and economic development, and opportunities for exchange and investment that benefit local communities.
Speaking at the signing, Senator Mandviwalla welcomed the initiatives as meaningful contributions to cultural diplomacy and global peace efforts, underlining that dialogue, mutual respect and understanding remain essential to address contemporary challenges and to strengthen bilateral ties with China.
The agreements reflect a shared commitment to promote the Peace Bottle concept as a platform for cultural exchange, international dialogue and strengthened people-to-people relations between Pakistan and partner countries.
