Aurangzeb Khichi Represents Pakistan at Cultures Forum

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi represented Pakistan at the United Cultures Forum in St. Petersburg, where he urged stronger cultural exchange to promote peace, inclusion and mutual respect. Speaking at a session of heads of delegation under the theme “Return to Culture – New Opportunities,” he highlighted Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and reiterated the country’s support for dialogue among civilizations. The forum brought together ministers of culture from 21 countries to share experiences and advance cultural diplomacy.
Addressing the delegation, Khichi stressed the central role culture plays in building peaceful, cohesive societies. He argued that renewed focus on cultural cooperation can create new opportunities for understanding and partnership between nations.
Khichi outlined Pakistan’s diverse and ancient cultural traditions, saying these assets can serve as bridges between peoples. He emphasized that cultural exchange fosters mutual respect and global harmony and praised initiatives that use art, heritage and cultural programs to overcome divisions.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s long-standing support for dialogue among civilizations and its commitment to policies and projects that bring countries closer through cultural cooperation. The United Cultures Forum provided a platform for ministers to exchange best practices and explore ways to strengthen international collaboration in cultural diplomacy.
