At a press conference at Quetta Press Club, Rehmatullah Khan Nurzai, president of the Balochistan Mix Martial Arts Association, announced that the STL3 MMA event was scheduled to commence on May 15, 2026 at Ayub Stadium Quetta.
He said players of mix martial arts from across the country are set to take part in the event, noting that it is the first time in the history of Balochistan that fights will be held inside a cage. Nurzai emphasized that sports can serve as a means to bring different communities of the province closer to one another.
Also attending the briefing were Osama Mehboob Awan, secretary general of the Pakistan Mix Martial Arts Federation, international MMA champion Nur Muhammad, national MMA champion Sajjad Tarin and other officials, who showed their support for the tournament and its objectives.
Organisers said STL3 MMA will showcase national talent and provide a platform in Quetta to promote unity and competitive sport across Balochistan and the wider country.
