Green-Jacketed Teams Become Symbol of Pakistani Excellence in Hajj

Madinah Munawwarah – Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, visited the residences of Pakistani pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme in Madinah and personally assessed the arrangements related to accommodation, meals, and overall services. The visit was marked by warm interactions with the pilgrims, who expressed their overwhelming satisfaction and appreciation for the ministry’s efforts.

During the visit, pilgrims conveyed that the arrangements provided by the government were not only up to the mark but also exceeded expectations. They described the environment as peaceful and well-organized, highlighting the dedication and courtesy of the ministry’s on-ground staff, easily identifiable by their green jackets—now a proud symbol of Pakistani service presence in the Kingdom.

The pilgrims showered heartfelt prayers upon Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, recognizing his leadership and commitment to ensuring a dignified and comfortable Hajj experience. Some private Hajj pilgrims, upon witnessing the quality of services extended under the government scheme, also expressed their admiration and appreciation.

Minister Yousuf congratulated all the pilgrims on the successful completion of their Hajj and requested them to remember Pakistan in their prayers. He extended his gratitude to the Saudi authorities and ministry teams working around the clock to facilitate the pilgrims.

“May Allah Almighty continue to bless our beloved Pakistan with peace, prosperity, and unity,” the Minister prayed as he concluded his visit, leaving pilgrims deeply moved by the gesture of direct engagement and oversight.
