Pakistan Women’s National Football Team Prepares for AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers

The Pakistan women’s national football team is gearing up to participate in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers, with the team set to depart for Indonesia soon. Led by Head Coach Adeel Rizki, the team wrapped up their training camp in Islamabad and is now preparing for their upcoming matches in the group stage.

Pakistan’s Football Federation (PFF) President, Syed Mohsen Gilani, visited the training camp to appraise the team’s progress and offer his support. During his visit, he interacted with players and coaching staff, expressed his confidence in their abilities, and wished them success in the upcoming qualifiers. The training camp, which lasted several days, focused on tactical preparations and team cohesion.

The team is scheduled to depart for Indonesia later in the evening via a private airline, with transit points at Karachi and Bangkok before arriving in Jakarta. Pakistan has been drawn into Group E, alongside Chinese Taipei, host nation Indonesia, and Kyrgyzstan. The team’s first match will be against Chinese Taipei on June 29, followed by fixtures against Indonesia on July 2 and Kyrgyzstan on July 5.

The upcoming matches will determine Pakistan’s qualification prospects for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, a key tournament for Asian women’s football. The team’s efforts have garnered support from federation officials and fans alike, as they aim to showcase their talents on the continental stage.
