Welcoming the delegation warmly, ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi highlighted Pakistan’s conducive investment environment, emphasizing the presence of rapidly expanding industries such as pharmaceuticals, marble, and steel. He underscored the significant advancements in infrastructure and noted the rising demand from regional and international markets, making Pakistan’s mining sector increasingly attractive for foreign investment.

President Qureshi encouraged the Chinese entrepreneurs to capitalize on emerging opportunities, stating that bilateral collaborations would lead to mutual economic benefits and further strengthen Pakistan-China economic ties. He also outlined ICCI’s active role in promoting business-friendly policies and facilitating ease of doing business through continued engagement with government agencies. He assured full support from the Chamber in navigating regulatory frameworks and commercial procedures to ensure successful and sustainable partnerships.

Expressing their confidence in Pakistan’s favorable business environment, the visiting Chinese delegates reiterated interest in forming joint ventures. They highlighted that such cooperation would foster employment generation, accelerate industrial growth, and facilitate the development of Pakistan’s human resources.

Former ICCI President Zahid Maqbool provided valuable insights during the meeting, emphasizing Pakistan’s immense potential for investment in the mining and minerals industry. His expertise further reinforced the optimism surrounding bilateral collaboration.

Other ICCI Executive Members, including Raja Naveed Satti and Waseem Chaudhry, along with ICCI member Mohammad Yassar—who accompanied the delegation—also contributed their perspectives during the discussions. They underscored the Chamber’s enthusiasm for working closely with Chinese investors, confident that such collaboration would expand the already well-established friendship and economic partnership between the two nations.
