**Punjab Highway Patrol in Rawalpindi Region Intensifies Crackdown on Criminal Elements, Recovers Stolen Vehicle and Arrests Multiple Fugitives**
Punjab Highway Patrol’s Rawalpindi Region has intensified its operations against criminal activities under the leadership of SSP Muhammad Bin Ashraf, resulting in the recovery of a stolen vehicle, the arrest of a key suspect, and the detention of several fugitives wanted in various cases.
During a routine inspection at the Chak Aka patrol post, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Ali and his team successfully recovered a stolen Toyota Hiace. The vehicle had been reported stolen in a case registered at Naseerabad Police Station, Lahore. The suspect, Muhammad Fayyaz, son of Niaz Ahmed and a resident of Gujranwala, was arrested on site, and a formal case has been registered against him.
In addition to the high-profile recovery, the Punjab Highway Patrol conducted a coordinated effort across the region, resulting in the arrest of five suspects wanted in multiple criminal cases and five judicial absconders. All individuals were apprehended during ongoing checks and have been taken into custody.
The Punjab Highway Patrol’s spokesperson reiterated the department’s commitment to preventing crime and ensuring the safety of the public by actively pursuing criminals and bringing them to justice.
