Designing Specialized Trainer Modules for Punjab CFMS

**UNODC Concludes Module Development Session for Punjab’s Justice System Integration**
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) recently concluded a key development session focused on creating specialized and “Training of Trainer” modules to support the rollout of Punjab’s upgraded Case Flow Management System (CFMS). Supported by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the session gathered stakeholders to structure training content tailored for prosecutors and administrative users.
During the session, participants concentrated on establishing a Training of Trainer model aimed at ensuring the sustainable transfer of knowledge across judicial and administrative departments. This approach is expected to empower institutional trainers, enabling them to lead the adoption and scaling of the CFMS as it integrates with the Prosecution Management Information System (PMIS).
The consultation marks an important step towards the full implementation of an integrated justice system in Punjab. As the region prepares for live operations using the enhanced system, the development of robust training modules is seen as pivotal in achieving smarter, more timely, and transparent delivery of justice. The session sets the groundwork for the next phase of the initiative, which will focus on capacity-building programs across Punjab, ultimately ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the upgraded justice system.
