Atif Ikram Sheikh’s Name Approved for Tamgha-i-Imtiaz

President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the conferment of Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh in recognition of his services in philanthropy and humanitarian work.

The approval was granted on the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day. Atif Ikram Sheikh will receive the national award from the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2027.

Atif Ikram Sheikh has been playing an active role in the business and industrial sectors as well as in welfare and social services. He is also serving as Vice President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and is President of the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He is also performing his responsibilities as head of the Mujahid Group of Industries.

Following the approval of his name for Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh expressed gratitude to President Asif Ali Zardari.

He said the approval of his name for a national award by the President was a matter of honour for him. He added that the honour was not for him personally, but for Pakistan’s business community and all those associated with welfare services.

Atif Ikram Sheikh said he was deeply thankful to the President, the Prime Minister, the Government of Pakistan and all relevant institutions for the approval of his name for Tamgha-i-Imtiaz. He said the nomination for the national award would further strengthen his resolve to work harder and serve Pakistan.
