Over 540 Patients Benefit From Free Medical Camp at Northwest General Hospital II

A free medical camp was organised at Northwest General Hospital II on August 27, 2026, as part of Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre’s continuing efforts to provide accessible and quality healthcare to the community.

More than 540 patients suffering from various health conditions benefited from the camp, which offered free medical consultations and complimentary medicines. Essential diagnostic investigations were also provided at highly subsidised rates.

According to the hospital, X-rays and ultrasound services were offered at a 50 per cent discount, while other necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests were made available at affordable prices. The initiative aimed to facilitate underserved members of the community by improving access to quality healthcare services.

The camp provided consultations in several specialties, including General Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Pediatrics and Urology.

A team of consultants and specialists participated in the camp, including Dr Raja Irfan Qadir, Consultant and Head of Orthopedics Department; Dr Muhammad Hanif Afridi, Medical Specialist and Gastroenterologist; Dr Nargis Gulab, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist; Dr Hamid Mehmood, Consultant Cardiologist; and Dr Muhammad Kashif Farooq, Consultant Infectious Diseases.
