Parliamentary Reporters Association Holds Special Prayer Ceremony in Islamabad for Deceased Members’ Relatives
PRA Expresses Condolence Through Fatiha Khwani for Members’ Loved Ones

Islamabad: In a heartfelt display of solidarity, the Parliamentary Reporters Association (PRA Pakistan) organized a Fatiha Khwani (special prayer gathering) today at the Press Lounge in Islamabad for the departed family members of its
esteemed members. The ceremony was held to offer prayers for the souls of the deceased and to support grieving members of the press community.
The event witnessed significant attendance from PRA members, fellow journalists, and professionals from various sectors, all uniting in collective prayer. Attendees offered dua (prayers) seeking forgiveness, elevated ranks in the hereafter for the deceased, and patience and strength for their bereaved families.
Speaking at the occasion, PRA Pakistan President Usman Khan and Secretary Naveed Akbar emphasized the association’s unwavering commitment to standing by its members during times of sorrow. They noted that expressing compassion and unity
during such moments is a cornerstone of the organization’s values.
