ICCI and Bahria Town Join Forces for Business Support

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and Bahria Town Rawalpindi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering cooperation, supporting the local business community, and promoting mutual benefits. The agreement highlights exclusive discounts for ICCI members on various Bahria Town services, while ICCI commits to promoting Bahria Town’s diverse projects through its official social media and communication platforms.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the ICCI headquarters, where ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi and Bahria Town Rawalpindi Deputy Chief Executive, Sajid Ilyas, formalized the agreement. This partnership aims to create opportunities that deliver enhanced value and benefits to the chamber’s members through advantageous offerings from Bahria Town.
ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi noted during the ceremony that the collaboration demonstrates ICCI’s ongoing commitment towards establishing meaningful partnerships that positively impact the business fraternity. He emphasized that such agreements help foster productive alliances, ensuring the continued support and growth of local businesses and enterprises.
Speaking on behalf of Bahria Town, Deputy Chief Executive Sajid Ilyas highlighted the group’s ongoing projects, including residential housing schemes, equestrian activities, and golf facilities. He underscored Bahria Town’s ambition to elevate living standards within the community and acknowledged the importance of cooperating with reputable organizations like ICCI to achieve shared goals.
During the event, ICCI Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui and Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry also expressed their support for the agreement. They reiterated ICCI’s mission to advocate effectively for the local business community, focusing on enhancing the entrepreneurial climate and improving the ease of doing business.
Prominent figures from both organizations attended the ceremony. Bahria Town representatives included Director Ahmed Ali, Sr. GM Finance Tahir Hanif, GM HR Kaleem Ullah, and Deputy GM Marketing Muhammad Awais. From ICCI, Executive Member Waseem Chaudhry and members Ehtesham Chaudhry, along with notable business leaders Shakeel Ahmed, Sammar Abbas, and Atif Hussain, were present. The well-attended event underscored the promising prospects of this collaboration for both organizations and the broader business community in the region.
