The National Special Education Centre for Physically Handicapped Children in Islamabad has launched a two-week summer camp titled “Camp of Hope and Courage,” aiming to empower physically challenged children through skill development, recreational activities, and dedicated physiotherapy sessions.
The camp provides various carefully organized activities designed specifically to address the needs and interests of physically handicapped children. Participants are offered opportunities to engage in arts and crafts activities, rock painting, storytelling sessions, and interactive computer training. These sessions aim to stimulate creativity, enhance social interaction, and build self-confidence among the children.
In addition, a range of indoor games is included in the program to foster teamwork, cooperation, and emotional resilience among the participants. The activities emphasize the significance of mindfulness and self-care, teaching attendees valuable practices to manage stress and promote overall emotional well-being.
