Pakistan Sends 24th Gaza Relief Consignment
Under the Prime Minister’s directive the National Disaster Management Authority coordinated the dispatch of a 100-ton relief consignment to Gaza with logistical support from the Alkhidmat Foundation. The shipment, sent on a chartered flight, included flour, rice, sweet corn, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil and fruit cocktails to assist families in need.
The consignment departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, and was routed to Gaza via Egypt as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts. This delivery marks Pakistan’s 24th aid consignment and brings the cumulative total of Pakistan’s Gaza relief to 2,327 tons.
A send-off ceremony at the airport brought together officials from the NDMA, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and delegates from the Alkhidmat Foundation to oversee the final preparations. Authorities said the coordinated effort reflects continued national commitment to providing Gaza relief under government direction.
