**NIMA Workshop Underscores Pakistan’s Blue Economy Opportunities and Sustainability Imperatives**

A maritime training workshop organized by the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) brought together experts and stakeholders to examine the potential of Pakistan’s Blue Economy and the sustainability challenges confronting the sector. A panel of renowned experts, including Commodore Masood Akram (Retd), Commodore Raheel Masood (Retd), Dr. Kanwar Javed Iqbal, Dr. Mushaiyada Mairaj, and Mr. Moazzam Khan, delivered presentations covering a range of topics from maritime law to fisheries management and trade policy. They underscored the need for comprehensive regulatory frameworks and ongoing capacity-building initiatives to help Pakistan realize its maritime ambitions.
