Pakistan’s junior squash team has progressed to the quarterfinals of the World Junior Squash Team Championships 2025 after securing a decisive victory against Poland, winning the tie 2-0.
In the first matchup, Pakistan’s Abdullah Nawaz overcame Poland’s Jan Samborski in four games, posting scores of 12-10, 4-11, 11-8, 11-2, to clinch the match 3-1. Meanwhile, Anas Ali Shah delivered a hard-fought win over Franciszek Michniewicz in a five-game thriller, with scores of 11-7, 9-11, 10-12, 11-5, 11-3, securing the tie for Pakistan.
Having triumphed in the pre-quarterfinal clash, Pakistan now advances to face Team England in the quarterfinals. The national team will be looking to continue their strong form and progress further in the international championship.
