H.E. Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, met with Major General (R) Faheem Ul Aziz, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, in Colombo to discuss expanding collaboration between COMSTECH and Sri Lankan Muslim students and young scientists.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Choudhary shared details about COMSTECH’s current programs and initiatives, which support both Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and non-OIC member countries, particularly those with significant Muslim minority communities. The discussion focused on identifying potential opportunities for Sri Lankan students and scientists to benefit from these programs.
Major General Faheem Ul Aziz praised COMSTECH’s vision and commended Prof. Dr. Choudhary’s leadership in fostering international scientific cooperation. The meeting highlighted both parties’ commitment to strengthening educational and scientific ties between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the wider Muslim world.
