Police Martyrs Day Observed by Rawalpindi Patrolling Police

The Punjab Highway Patrol Rawalpindi Region held special events to commemorate Police Martyrs’ Day, honoring the sacrifices of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. The ceremonies aimed to pay tribute to fallen officers and express solidarity with their families.

The observance began in the early morning with a Quran recitation and prayers dedicated to the memory of police martyrs, seeking blessings for their souls. A key highlight was a ceremony at the grave of martyred Assistant Sub-Inspector Sajjad Haider, where members of the patrol police paid their respects with a guard of honor. Officers laid floral wreaths on the martyr’s grave and joined the family in offering prayers for his elevated status in the afterlife.

These activities were organized by the Punjab Highway Patrol’s Public Relations Department to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of police personnel and reinforce the commitment to public service.
