Punjab Highway Patrol Rawalpindi Region Holds Martyrs’ Day Ceremony

The Punjab Highway Patrol in the Rawalpindi region organized a ceremony to mark Martyrs’ Day, honoring the memory and sacrifices of police martyrs. The event began with a Quran recitation after the morning prayers, dedicated to the departed souls of police officers and prayers for the elevation of their ranks.

Following the prayers, special tributes were paid to the late Assistant Sub-Inspector Sajjad Haider, a martyr of the patrolling police. A respectful salute was presented at his grave by an alert contingent of the Punjab Highway Patrol, reflecting deep admiration and grief for their fallen colleague. The grave of ASI Sajjad Haider was adorned with flowers, and a special prayer was offered with his family members for his eternal peace.

The ceremony served as a reminder of the dedication and bravery demonstrated by police martyrs and highlighted the Punjab Highway Patrol’s commitment to honoring their legacy.
