Malaysia Expresses Support for Pakistan After Flash Floods

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received a phone call from the Malaysian Foreign Minister, Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan, who offered condolences following the recent flash floods in northern Pakistan. The Malaysian Foreign Minister conveyed his government’s support and prayers for the victims and people affected by the disaster.
Expressing appreciation for Malaysia’s solidarity, Senator Dar reiterated the significant challenges that climate change brings, particularly for developing countries such as Pakistan. Both leaders acknowledged the importance of international cooperation in addressing the increasing threats posed by climate-related calamities.
