ALSO Workshop at CPSP Multan — Participants and Outcomes

An ALSO workshop was held at the CPSP Regional Center in Multan, bringing together senior faculty and consultants to provide focused training for 21 candidates from Southern Punjab. The event combined in-person instruction with an online address from the President of CPSP, underscoring the college’s commitment to continuing professional development and international collaboration.
The workshop was organized at the CPSP Multan regional center and led by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tayyab, a council member of CPSP, who formally opened the session. A number of senior faculty members from across Punjab served as instructors, delivering the program and guiding practical exercises.
Senior consultants also participated in the workshop, contributing clinical expertise and enhancing the quality of instruction. The hands-on format and experienced teaching team aimed to ensure that attendees gained applicable skills relevant to their clinical practice.
Twenty-one candidates, primarily from Southern Punjab, attended the workshop. The relatively small group size enabled close interaction between instructors and participants and facilitated practical skills development.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, President of CPSP, addressed the session online. He shared insights from his recent visit to the United Kingdom, highlighting academic achievements and collaborative opportunities, and commended the organizers for the strong arrangements and the evident enthusiasm of participants to update their knowledge.
The workshop concluded with a group photograph to mark the occasion. Organizers emphasized the importance of such regional training events in strengthening clinical skills and fostering professional networks across the province.
